A Summer Without Wagons

A little update on all of us after a very strange summer.  It was strange, weird, hard, but still filled with lots of great memories.  We were still able to spend it together as a family and had some fun along the way!  We had family, friends, neighbours, sponsors and strangers all step up and help in a rather difficult time, but helped us make the best of a not so great situation.  From pasture and feed for the stars of the show, to employment and holidays for our family, we are truly and eternally grateful for each and every one of you.  It would be a drastic understatement to say that we would have made it through this summer without so many of you.  You have all shown us through thick and thin there are truly good people in this world.

Jordie was able to try out a few different hats this spring and summer.  From mixing and hauling fertilizer to plumbing (spoiler- he actually went to school for this!) to helping with harvest.  He now has a few more lines on his resume.  We are forever grateful to everyone that stepped up and offered jobs and work!  He is now back in the swing of things running the Blackie Rink and life is returning to what we know as a normal around here.  All of the horses are home from pasture and are enjoying eating the grass and hay land down around home before they will be back on hay and oats once the snow flies!
